Innovative Design recieved a letter from the director of the Aga Khan Award for Architecture stating that Capital Enterprise Building has been nominated to the Award for 2018.

With reference to the building features that mainly contributed to its nomination, the building introduced the first public space placed on a private property, the first multi layered building facade that build specifically for climate control, and the first shopping mall and food court build according to the international standards.
